To get a website up and running on the web you basically need three things:-

• A domain name
  This is a bit like a telephone number but for the internet. It is your unique web address and is what people enter into their internet browser to reach your website. Your domain name should be short and as relevant to your business as possible.
• A Website
  The actual website including design, content and image files etc.
• Hosting
  This is a computer where your website and all it's files are physically stored. When internet users access your domain name they are served up files from the computer that your website is hosted on.
